383 w/ LE2... Worry about the tranny?

I've got my 383 LE2 ready to go back into the car. This thing should be putting down a lot of torque. My transmission has about 30k on a stock rebuild. I have a 2800 Vigilante and a TransGo shift kit. The car will see very little track time.

How worried should I be with this transmission?

Other than a trans cooler, are there any other precautions I should take in order to make it last as long as possible?

Thanks

It's not gonna take much to destroy that. Ive gone through two transmissions in my Z in the last 3 years and I'm practically stock!

You can pray to the 3-4 clutch pack Gods.
I'm on my 4th 4l60e and counting. Gotta love it.

Just depends on how you treat it. I ran high 11's last summer and just over 10k HARD street miles while running high 11's on a STOCK transmission and a 3000 midwest stall. The transmission had 33k miles on it when I put the heads/cam package on and never failed on me, I ended up just rebuilding it while it was out and when pulled apart it still looked good.
