How much power can you expect to gain by stroking the LT1?

 

That's a pretty broad question. I believe everything else being equal, the HP would only be up slightly but happen at a lower rpm. But you will gain a nice amount of torque. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

That is exactly right.

With all things being equal except the cubic inches (heads cam etc) the 383 will gain a small percent of HP, but like said it will peak earlier, the torque now will come in gobs !!!
