383 stroker
Re: 383 stroker
Thats a pretty broad question. You can make as little as 400hp or as much as 1000hp with forced induction. With a stroker, you're looking at torque, not so much horsepower. Mod for mod, a stroker will make about 100 more pounds of torque than a non stroker that is putting out 350 pounds.
Headers will typically add 25hp. (longtubes)
CAI will typically add 10hp.
The cam is pretty general too. There are several different cams. On a stroker motor, your combustion chamber is bigger and you can run more duration and lift. Something streetable and fast for a stroker would be a .650 lift cam with maybe 240/248 duration. This would probably make a little over 500hp.
Looks like you need to do a little research. invest in books. Search the site with the search feature. Trust me, the questions you ask have been asked at least ten times already. You'll be alright.
I probably need to do some research myself too.
