383 piston options oem heads

got a set of AI200cc heads and ported intake coming. running 6" rods on a 3.75" crank. anyone know of a set of catalog pistons that have cc relief larger then -5cc and smaller then -16cc? i dont want 12.2:1 compression on pump fuel, and i dont really want to drop it down into the mid 10's either. heads are ~56cc chambers. is custom my only option?

The Keith Black hypereutactic (KB-134) I used uses 7cc reliefs. Don't know if they make one for a 6" rod though. Call them up they have great phone support...

Just checked and they also make it for the 6" rod as the (KB-100)

Check this list out...

These are hyper pistons thou so I'm not sure if you want forged or not.

Call AI back and talk to them about some Mahles.

Don't put cheap, out of round, thick ringpack crap in it would be a step backwards from a stock shortblock.

Try cheching Probe Pistons Part #12345. I have these in my 6 inch rod 383, they have a 12.8 cc dish and at .005 in the hole and 56cc on the heads the compression is right around 11:1. They are the 2618 forgings and can handle a power adder.
