you mean for now - just use the flywheel you're having balanced and install new main bearings?

next clutch install, pull it apart and rebalance?

or EVERY time you install a clutch?

Everytime you install a new clutch you need to have the flywheel and pressure plate rebalanced as a complete assy, Or in most cases just have the balance checked. The machine shop said most of the times the pressure plates are balanced from the manufacturer. I am probably going to run the motor for 1000 miles or so then check the bearings again. Its a expensive investment and I do not want to mess it up.

In 30 years of this hobby I've never heard that before. It makes perfect sense - always something to learn, thanks and good luck!
