James Thank You! very much for your responses!

Now, who else reading this thread has built a 383 stroker LT1 using a standard base circle cam ... and what problems (if any) did you have with your cam to rod clearence. (In essence what brand and/or type of 6.0" rods will let you run a .380" lobe lift/238-240ish duration @ .050" HR cam with minimal (if any) rod to cam clearence problems?) TIA for all responses.

I have a 383 with 5.7 Eagle I beams and had no issues

but if you're looking for 6" 383 I have no experience

Bringing this one back. I just finished the bottom end on my 383 with a Callies RA on 6'' rods seems like most of the clearancing was more for the rod bolts than the actual rod, but my question is on the cam did any of you guy's using the callies 6'' H-beam have trouble with cam/rod clearance?
