355 with LE1?

How much power do you guys think I would get out of a 355 with an LE1 setup? What about with an LE2?

With a 6-speed and ALL the supporting mods, I would guess:

LE1 - 380ish RWHP

LE2 - 410-415ish RWHP

380 would be great, since I will be running juice to. How hard does the LE1 lope? This car is my daily, so I will prob end up with the LE1 due to gas mileage differences, unless the difference is fairly small. Also, I am thinking about the Victory Racing Engines Economy shortblock.

i would think a LE2 wouldnt be too much difference. with a 6-speed, u can shift into the desired gear to get it to where u want it for streetability.
Next year, im doing a LE3 383 for my daily driver (starting to get the parts ready)
VRE's are great, if u can scrounge up extra money, id get forged internals tho

I am either gong to go this route, or just rebuild my motor with some Hypereutectic pistons and throw a 306 in it with a 100 shot.

some pistons forged ones wouldnt be too much more and would hold up better to the n20 use. I would consider them, as for the le1/2 question:
1. do you need to pass emissions?
2. What do you think of as daily driver(mild-wild)
3. Have you thought about the le2 heads and a le1 cam or the other way around.
Give some more info on what your goals/budget is.

Emissions in no concern, as for what i consider a daily driver, something I can still atleast get about 16 to 20 mpg on the highway keepin my foot out of it. I have thought about that set-up, but haven't seen any posted numbers about it. My budget will be about $5000 tops to do this. I want to be pushin right at about 500 hp on the bottle(100 shot). I was considering a stock bottom end, maybe with some forged pistons, a comp 306 cam and bottle, I figure that would hit me at about 450 to 460. I really want a LE setup with a 355/383 but not sure if I will have enough in my budget to do it or not.

Hahaha definately. I can tell, there isnt any power there at all. I bet you get burned by stock civics all the time. No im kidding, your car sounds awesome, your car is actually the one that turned me on to the LE1 in the first place!

You can't go wrong with the LE1 package. With the 4.10's you already have you won't be able to tell much difference in the way it drives. If I had it to do again, I would go with the 2.0/1.57 instead of the 2.02/1.60 valves I have in there now.

You can run an LE1 on a rebuilt stock short block with forged pistons and upgraded bolts. Just picked up the rods cause I got them for $200. Also my mpg my last fill up was 16 mpg, that was mixed as well. Straight city, about 14-15 Straight highway about 18-20 depending if I drive 65 or if I cruise with traffic around 80.
