350ci LT1 times in 1/4mile with bolt ons/ headers..?

I want to see some 1/4 mile times with bolt on mods and how much ETs are improved upon by addition of headers (LTs or shorties). I am doing the winter project thing and want to know what to expect from improvements I am planning on doing. I want to know if 1.6 RRs and LT headers are gonna give me a big improvement.

The LT and 1.6 RRs will give you a huge improvement, mainly coming from the LTs (get Jet Hot or Hooker LTs and a Hooker 3" off road Y-pipe). Don't even consider shorties IMO. I'm not sure about the times, but I'd venture to say the LTs and 1.6 RR combo would give you .3-.4 seconds in the 1/4 at least.

LTs and 1.6 RRs will get you in the low 13s.

Really? LT's and 1.6rr's will get you into low 13's? Thats got to be some serious hp gains.
Actually tho other then for bragging rights for a mostly stock engines Mid lengths are the best, Lt's I think you would have to rev to high to get anything out of em.

Headers on the LT1 are serious HP gains. Not just LT's by the way. Mac and ASM and SLP are all mid length and give great gains too.

FYI, I've got some timeslips on my page in the sig. Black car. Basically, before exhaust, I went 13.63@102.32 on a nice cold day. With the exhaust (never put rockers on it) I went 13.09@106.82 on a very comparable day.

Truth is for every good stock LT1 runnin 13.6-7's@101-102 mph, theres as many LS1's cutting 12.8's-9's stock @108-109..What car would u rather then...I love both and would take either..just stating a point

well stock I don't see to many LS1's running 12's, and almost all LT1's i've seen run very low 14's, sometimes I see a 13.9 thrown in there but realisticly thats rare. So I think low 13's would be quite an accomplish, thats stock LS1 territory

On the contrary, I ran a 13.0 in my 98 T/A...and it was an A4. My friend ran a 12.8x in his stock 99 T/A WS6. Its not too uncommon to see a good driver in a M6 runa high 12. LT1's on the other hand, running strong can get a 13.6 13.7 easy. Its bad driving and problems with the car that make most people hit 14's.

I had SLP dual-cat shorties and a borla cat-back and I ran 13.6 @ 104. I wasn't a very good driver back then (2.5 years ago), so I'm sure 13.2-13.3 @ 105-106 would have been plausible.

I was running low 13's @ 104 with just bolt ons in my 95 a4. I put down quite a few ls1 cars, that was through stock manifolds and full exhaust. Converter and a cutout, I would been mid 12 material. Lt1's can run good too. And they cost less.

Wrong. Long tubes gain power everywhere throughout the power curve, more than any other design, mid or shorty.
