I was over at RPM today and got to hear the car run. Wow. Couple the beefy cam with that supercharger whine and it is nuts.
The only thing I don't understand is why someone would take the last Comp T/A made and put on an LS1 front and back and chop it all up. Why not take a run of the mill LS1 and tear it up. It is pretty though.

You can see in the pictures that the Comp T/A plate is still on the console. It also has a Meacham spoiler.

 

I look at that motor and I think to myself... most badass(read: expensive) LT1 EVER!

 

That motor in that car, SICK.................

 

All the original Comp T/A Parts that came off were thrown into a pile @ AMS last I saw them several years ago. Was so sad to see the car like that.

 

Can someone contact this guy and have him post a progress report on this car with some updated pics and some video (I would love to hear this car run !!! ). We want more info, LT1's rarely have this much exotic stuff to talk about

i guess i worded that wrong. changing spark plugs will be easier, but damn on the headers.

 

I was at hung out at L&B while this car was built and let me tell you, it was not the easiest project. Does any one know what happened to Gary?

 

If you are talking about the father (the original owner) he passed away 4 days before the car was finished and was fired up. His son has the car now. Haven't been up to RPM in a while so I haven't gotten the latest on the car, but I'm sure it's sick.

 

I would love to see that car running! Anyone know if those valve covers were painted or powder coated?
