If you have wheels with the right offset 315's fit without any bodywork, We just put them on my son's Z with no problems

I rolled my rear panels out on my 95 trans am. Wouldnt have fit with my 17inch OZ racing rims. If you wanna see pictures i give you some of the car in the garage.

What is the correct offset for 315's so that you won't need to roll the fenders or do any body work to get them to fit?

about the offset...i think i'd like to have a little more "dish" on the rear than up front....is that possible w/ fwd application wheels ?

yes, the rears will have a bit more of a dish. Basically the width is added to the outside of the wheels. Since your front will probably be a 56mm offset and the rears will be a 50mm. SO there rears are moved in 6 mm and then the rest of the width is added to the outside lip of the wheel.

what about with 18x11"? Would the 50mm offset still prevent rubbing? Or will the added height cause the tire to rub? (in a lowered car?) I've read a few of the tutorials online about banging in the rear fenders and rolling the lip for 17x11"s, I was just wondering if there would be any difference if the rim was 18" instead of 17, as far as clearance/rubbing issues. Thanx guys.

i am not too sure about 18x11's. I dont really know many wheels available in that size, except for wheels made for a corvette which are pricey. The stock z06 size is 18x10.5 in the rear, and i am pretty sure that will fit pretty well without rubbing. Not 100% thouugh, maybe someone else will chip in.

It makes a difference what brand of tire, too. BFG 315s are wider than Nitto 315s. I run Nitto 315s on 9 inch wide SS wheels with no clearence problems, but one of our customers runs BFG 315s on the same wheel and had to roll his fender lips.
