315 Nitto Drag Radials. What best psi to run them on the street?

I was wondering what PSI you guys recommend on the 315 DRs. I know if u over inflate them, the center will wear out pretty quickly. I heard anywhere from 20-35
Thanks

Well, I've got about 700 miles on em (didn't use them at the track) but the wear looks even so far.
I think Nitto recommends using the factory spec pressure rating but I don't see a prob with ~30 psi.

What rim width you running? I've got 11". When I first got the 315's I tested different PSI in them by burning out and seeing what gave me the most even black mark and 26psi gave the best results.

I can actually tell it rides a little softer with 28 instead of 32. I might run the next pair at 26. BTW, how many miles is everyone getting out of them? My last set lasted about 14,000, but this set seems to be wearing much quicker.
I'm running 275's so mine are a little different, but @ 25psi cold... mine were almost in the center and almost new on the outside quite quickly.... I dropped them to about 15psi cold and they started to wear more evenly, but still not how i;d like to see it.
I think it'd due to being such a soft tire.. it actually acts like a slick, and grows at higher speeds, similar to what you see a top-fuel car do as the tire goes from wide and short to tall and narrow... I'm thinking the Nitto's do the same thing, although no where near as extreme.

Bringing up an old post, but I've dropped my down to 24 cold. I talked with some of my buddies who run 18 on the street all the time with no problems. I might try dropping them down some more after I look at theirs and talk to them again.
