im thinking of going w/ a cc305. what will i need to buy: valve springs, retainers, locks, and what else? also will i need to get a programmer for some tunning. if so which do you recommend? should i expect a big diff. in 1/4mile.

You should see about a .4 sec (or so) drop w/ that cam and a few mph gain. It's the one in my sig, and it runs good. In fact, you have a PM...

Installation cost me $400.
Get a cam swap gasket pack from thunderracing.
New timing chain and sprocket.
New valve seals, locks, don't really need new retainers w/ that cam.
