305 or 503 which should i do?
I Still Want Low End For Driving On The Street But Also Want A Good Lope And Over All Power. Should I Consider The Hot Cam Also? I Am Not Worried About Peak Power. I Have Most Bolt Ons And Want It Too Lope Now. I Have Good Low End Now And Dont Want To Loose It. I Have An Auto And Might Get A Stall Later In A Few Months If It Is Really Need. Just Let Me Know Waht You Guys Think.

You can get the GM 846 from anywhere that sells GM High Performance Parts.
Specs. 222/230 .509/.528 (1.5RR) 112LSA P/N 12370846
I think the lobes and such of the XE cams are supposed to sustain low end. But many custom cam builders dont like them. And personally I'll take their word for it. If I went with a mid size cam it would be the 846. With any larger aftermarket cam you'll get your TQ curve push up in the RPM's which is why people use stalls to get to that peak TQ quicker.

Re: 305 or 503 which should i do?
I want basically the same performance you do so I emailed CC. They recommended the 503 over the 305. The difference in the numbers leads me to believe the 503 will have a broader power curve which is ideal for everything but drag racing. Most people put too much cam in their cars in the quest for peak hp.
This is the info I have, but I still haven't made up my mind either.

gm846 =
222, 230 .543, .563 on 112 w/1.6 rr's
.509, .528 w/1.5rr's
It's a fun cam that LOPES like a big cam.
I have a 2500 stall with it, but I would like to have
a 3200 to take better advantage of it
It pulls from 3500 to 6700 really hard!

Anywhere who sells GM High Performance Parts should be able to sell you one. Scoggin-Dickey and Jim Pace Pontiac are a few I have seen with decent prices. Check around and find the cheapest place. And to be absolutely correct the GM 847 is the 846's BIG brother.
