3" X Pipe

3" X Pipe

Anyone in here running a 3" X-pipe? I'm wanting to get the Summit universal X and run borla XR1's on it.. Im Just debating on getting the 2.5 inch or 3 inch. Whats the clearance like on your 3" systems? Its a stock riding hieght 96ss ill be running heads/cam/LT's. Thanks guys

Clearance should be fine on a stock ride height car. Just make sure and tuck it up as best as you can. Texas Speed's universal 3" kit gives decent clearance. Some on ls1tech have managed to get theirs to clear a 12oz coke can at the mufflers.

has anyone tried the texas speed X-pipe on an LT1? I wouldnt get those bullets though i think the XR1's sound a billion times better.
