I beleive you. Im going to look into trying to run it to the back of the car....
But I had a bullet muffler on my 81 Malibu (SB 350). It sounded very very very nice....

About this track proven loss of power over stock mufflers in going with Flowmaster.

I'd really like to see this.

maybe a slight exaggeration but i ran on a thursday night it was about dusk and 80 degrees with stock everything ran a 14.08@98mph came back on sunday afternoon, sun a little higher, about 78 degrees and the car ran 14.16@97mph. both days there were no more than 10 cars ran ahead of me, oh yeah, and seat of the pants, you can tell, unless you just dont want to.

Is the exhaust louder than if you had it running out the back. I am currently running a bullet in place of the LM resonator but I kept the pipes running out the back. I am getting mac's w/ off road pipe. I need to find something to quiet it down. THanks!
Yeah, its a little louder than running it out the back. Its not as bad as the cutout if youve ever heard one of those.

Why would you wanna run it out the back of the car? If you were to put it where your cutout is now, you would love it.

I use to have a cutout and it rattled the $#!% out of the car. I loved it for about 2 days and then i could not stand it.
