Well i still have my stock exhaust manifolds on the car, just installed a 3" Borla ypipe w/ highflo cat connected onto my adjustable 3" borla catback.
Boy does it sound sweet at WOT

at idle the sound didnt really change much from the stock ypipe, but cruiseing and WOT the car sounds real good. Im happy with my results.

For all of you asking why didnt i get headers???? i didnt want to spend the time/money to install them on my 134,000 mile car. so im putting 4:10's in within a week or two and i think im done modding my LT1. Time to save for LS1 fund or maybe even a 355 LE1/2 setup...not sure what direction im gonna take

 

Yeah, sometimes is best to not tackle a big project like headers. Did you get your old y-pipe bolts off okay?

 

yea they came off alot easier than though i would be, sprayed them with PB blaster 5min before i tried unbolting them, and took a little force on my part but they all came out pretty easy. cause none broke on me, i just wirebrushed some of the rust off them and added a coat of anti-seize to them and put them back on.
