3:73's or 4:10's?

I know this has been beat around here a lot but I am looking at my specific combo. I understand that my 93 has a different ratio 1st gear than the other years. Also since I am running 17" wheels I am leaning towards the 4:10's. Any input who be helpful.

My vote goes for the 4.10s.

I had a 93 Trans in my 95 Trans am. It was great with 4.10's till I added nitrous. First gear was like GONE as soon as you floor it. You Have to shift really fast into second. second doesnt last long either. I also am running 315/35 17's in the rear. It worked great with just motor, but if your gonna add a supercharger or nitrous. I would go with 3.73's. I took the nitrous off and also ran a supercharger with the 4.10's. I literally could start in second gear and still spin the tires. It was a little to much gear.

you have the m29 gear box i suggest going no higher then the 3.73s. with the 4.10s you spend too much time shifting as your gears are done quicker. personally i have the m28 gearbox and im just gonna go with the 3.42s when my rear gives out. and with the 4.10s just try getting any traction at the track.
