I'm wanting to go with 3.73s and i would also like to know. Will we gain much in the quarter or is it such a small jump from 3.42 to 3.73s that we wont be able to tell?

1469 rpms

Sorry I didn't track my car before the rearend work. The 3.73s and 1le driveshaft did make the car feel as if it went on a 400 lb diet, nice noticeable gain.

If i was doing it again my preference would be 3.90s, 3.73s, then 4.10s.

i've heard 3.73's aren't enough. When i wanted gears i ordered 4.10's. I never got to put them in though because i just went with this 8.8 and got 3.90's. I love'em they shoud make 3.90's for the 7.5.

If you've got an A4, i'd get 3.73's ......M6, 4.10's.

A manual car with 4.10's will run less rpm's then an A4 car with 3.23's at the same speed.

3.73's wont change a six speed car much. You'll go from 1400ish rpms to maybe 1600 or 1700 at 60. If its not too late go with 4.10s.
