3.4 to Lt1 Swap wiring problems PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE???

Well I`ve been told you guys know what your doing so can I ask you a question about the camaro 3.4 to to LT1 swap . I have completed my swap everything installed & she wont start , it turns over & will just about start but no go. Ok now let me tell you what I have . I have a 95 Camaro that used to have the 3.4 with a 5 speed. I since changed it all over to a 94 or 95 not sure of the year I know its not a 93 , Lt1 with a T56 6 speed trans. now I used a Lt1 automatic trans wiring harness not a T56 harness. Which as soon as I get the car running we are going to delete all the extra crap , EGR, ship shift , & so on & so on. I changed the VSS plug because I need that one.

Ok now the problem , when you turn the Key on I get no fuel pump it will like I said turn over all day long & just about start on starting fluid but no go. I check the relay & it has power but still no start, I jumped the fuel pump relay which is on the dr side by your left foot & that turns on the pump full time but I dont think its activating the injectors ??

So my question is WHAT AM I MISSING?? Somebody says I have to change around some wires on the passenger side where the harness comes into the car Im stumped & ready to get my car out for the spring , anyhelp is greatly appreciated , you can call me if you would like my cell is (419)466-9830 my name is Josh .

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN everything is hooked up all grounds have been checked over & over all connections have been checked Im just lost let me know AS SOON AS YOU CAN thank you so much.

JOSH

the PCM & harness is out of a 94-95 not sure I was told a 95 , what I need is the wiring diagram for a v6 harness for the plugs inside the car so I can match it up to my LT1 harness.

There's enough of a difference between 94 and 95 to make it not work.
Around the PCM connectors, there should be 1 or 2 plugs which connect to the forward lamp harness. (they should be near the strut tower normally) One of them has 8 cavities and the other one has 10. They're both black in color. You have the one with 10 cavities either way, but you need to check if you have the one with 8.

Its a 10 pin . the plug comming out of the PCM has 9 wires & the plug from the harness has 10 wires its missing the top middle wire.

Does yours have the orange wire in the 10 pin that madwolf is talking about or is it in the 4 pin that goes under the dash, that is an ECM power wire. on the under dash it is the third wire (Puple big one, then a black /white one then the orange one).

in the 10 pin that madwolf was talking about that I found , the side that comes from the headlight area the top row of wires are Pink,Green, green & White Orange & brown the other side that goes towards the engine compartment top row is Pink Green Green & White Blue & brown.

So the Blue wire is different , does this help you to help me figure this car out I sure hope so I want her running so bad!!

Thank you for taking the time to help me

Once you have the wiring figured out, check the fuel pump relay in the driver side kick panel... That will aslo keep the fuel pump from turning on.

Well it seems like you are using a 95 harness. There are two plugs near the fuel pump prime connector right? One with 10 pins and the other with 8. Are they both connected?

You shouldn't have a problem with a 95 harness because the wires are in the same locations as on the V6 car. Something else is keeping it from starting though. Did you check to see if you're getting spark? How about power to the injectors?

where was the fuel pump prime connectors , the 10 pin & the 8 pin ? Im sorry but Ive never had wiring issues & Im new to a v6 swap I usually just buy them with a V8`s in them , LOL. as for spark yes Im getting spark & power to the injectors IM not sure I check the ohm`s on everyone of them & they were good. Its just the fuel pump doesent turn on when you crank the car you dont get that prime sound , Something has to be not connected or a pin is in the wrong place . When you jump the relay it turns on the fuel pump when the Key is on but it wont start still??

Thank you so much for your time again this really means allot to me I dont have anyone here in Toledo Ohio that I know that can help me with this .

You said that when you got the fuel pump working that the injectors weren't firing... they wouldn't be.. the ecu fires the injectors.

You can check for fuel injectors firing by getting NOIDS or an injector probe from a mechanic friend or the internet.

I know you can also check them from a multimeter, but I think you need a pretty fast DMM in order to detect the injector pulses...
