247hp ~275tq?
247hp ~275tq?
had my car dyno'ed today on a dynojet. came up with 247hp and about 275tq... had a torque spike on the graph towards the end, but basically was holding down at 270-275 al the way. Thats STD numbers though. Is that good? bad? okay? a little low? dunno how to compare STD and SAE #s. its an A4, 97Z with CAI. thats about it, has the tb coolant bypass but dont think that does much. thanks.
Re: 247hp ~275tq?
That seems kind of low to me. I put out 278.9rwhp SAE (283-284 STD) with just a cai, catback, and 1.6 roller rockers on my 97 A4. I don't think a catback and roller rockers would add 35+ hp.
Re: 247hp ~275tq?
Well seems either Im right on or a little low or in between. As long as Im in the vicinity to where Im supposed to be I should be happy. further opinions are still welcome.
Re: 247hp ~275tq?
I like seeing posts about near stock LT1's. I guess thats pretty close to where it needs to be, with 15 percent drivetrain loss thats what 285hp...which is basically the stock rating...maybe just a tad low...not to sure though...i dont know much about dyno #'s.
