Is the B&M Tork Master 2400 converter too small for the comp cam 306?

Depends on what your goals are. For best 1/4 times, yes, it is small, otherwise it will work. I've got one with a very similar cam.

 

im never at the track, just on the street, so will it be good enough to wake up the cam better than stock

 

Yes, I have no problems with it whatsoever. Good driveability and still kills the tires if needed.

 

I had a 2400 with my XE 224/230 and it was pretty good for the street. The only reason I got it was to deal with the higher idle (creeping @ when stopped). Did the job.

By the way - spring the extra $50ish for a trans cooler when you do the stall. Well worth it

 

3000 plus...my 2600 on my 97 was too mild,could only imagine a 2400...probably feel just like the stock

 

man,to utilze the power of the cc306 you need atleast a 3500 stall spend the extra cash to get what you NEED.if you consult c.c. they will tell you that cam needs that or more.....
