224/236 Xtreme lift. Too much lift?

Just wondering what people's opinion of this cam is? Do you have to worry about piston to valve clearance on this cam w/ so much lift? My Pop just bought himself a stk 93 Z and is already wanting to tear into the engine w/ new valvetrain setup.

As far as the lift goes I think unless you have some heads work done that you'll be working the valve train hard and not getting much for it. For a system to work in the 0.600" lift range you really should be talking to some of the guys here who do porting work or look at some AFRs.
