I have this same cam. I bumped up the idle and the ses light stays off. Its picking up the po300 cause the idle is so low. I took mine up to 950rpms. This cam is a real nice cam and sounds good throw the 2otl exhaust. Enjoy!!!

Non SA rockers are noisy compared to SA.
I thought SA were suppose to be the louder of the two ?? What is true??

Thxs. Doing NSA because I thought they were a tad less noisey.

I am glad to hear someone got good gains from this setup. I am installing the same now. 80hp would be sweet.

It sounds sweet with that exhaust. You can hear the nice lope. You definently know there is a cam in the cam. No hidding that.

Javier-- Do you have any times yet from your cam swap? Im very much interested in your new times. We were running the same timesand MPH before you did the swap. And I a too am looking to run that same cam. What all did you do when you installed the new cam? What mods have been done since your best times in your sig. I know the cam. but what else have you done? Please keep me posted Im very much interested to see what kind of times you run. Also maybe some dyno numbers.

Hey bud... it's 3am and I just finished getting the car ready to run tomorrow at the best track in the state during a track rental. It's the same track I ran my best times, but it will be a little warmer out I presume.

In any case, check back tomorrow night and I will have some results. I just finished doublechecking my rockers, fixing an exhaust leak, and switching back to synthetic. Took the car out for a spin and holy **** does it feel good, especially since the skinnies are back on for tomorrow.

The ONLY thing I've done is the cam, LT4 ED timing set, and the pro mag 1.6 SA RR's.. nothin' else. Car is tuned by pcmforless. I'm getting some times on this setup before I bump up the stall and go to 3.73's from my current 3.23's..

gotta be up in 2 hours, time for bed.

OK heres the scoop.
Before I was running 13.995@103.3 with K&N intake and maf and cutout.
Now I have 224/230 Cam, jethot Long tubes, I ported and polished my heads myself, and port matched intake. Also no egr or air. New MPH was 111.66 that is with no tune at all. Also very cold that day I didnt get traction til fater the 1/8th my 60's were like 2.4s I was also on a street tire but manged to run a 12.7@111.66 w/ 2.4* 60'. Hope this helps ya guys. Oh yeah so considering I and the car still weigh the same that is good for about 80 hp.
