Any draw backs to replaceing a 140 amp alt with a 200amp alt?

You might search the stereo/electronic section.... I recall a year or two ago there were a few threads about this subject.....

 

The more power it produces, the more drag it's going to create.

If you need to power your audio system, it's pretty much your only choice. A few HP is worth having headlights that don't surge on and off constantly. I can't imagine dropping the voltage over and over again is good for the computer either.
