2 quick mod questions...
2 quick mod questions...
First, does anyone know where I can get 90/10 front shocks for a 93 Z28?
Second, will an adjustable fuel pressure regulator help raise my horsepower at all?
Thanks for your time guys.

That is an ongoing debate on this board. Do a search. From what I understand, the AFPR will work for a very short time, then your computer will realize this, and switch back.

bumping up the fuel psi on any stock car is not going to give you a major gain in hp. once your mods start, or you get a PA, then your psi is more critical and usually requires some pretty signicant tuning to get the most out of your set up. on a stock car, i wouldnt waste my money.
for the shocks, as said, Summit sells some and im pretty sure Jegs does as well.

Well if the car is fairly stock then lowering the fuel pressure will usually add 9-12 hp and about the same amount of torque,it is a very good mod and as you mod the car further it will be a great tunning devise,in my opinion a AFPR is a manditory mod on a 93.
Definately go with the AFPR on a '93. The ECM will not compensate for the change in fuel pressure like it will on 94+ cars. That is why people will say not to do it. Go to www.ws6.com he gained 16HP by leaning out the mixture. But because his was not a 93 and had a PCM, it saw the change and set the a/f mixture back to what it should be.
