2 Different EGR Valves

When I went to the parts store to buy a new egr they had two different part numbers for the same looking egr. They look the exact same, but one is about 95 dollars and the other is about 48. What is the difference and which one do I need???

Well, the GM parts book lists 2 for 1995 depending on if the car is equipped with California emissions or not, but they are both the same price (~$40 wholesale).

I am guessing that the cheap one is for us people without cali emissions. The more expensive one is for the Cali people with more strict emissions standards. Sound about right to you Shoebox.

Could be, but like I stated, the dealer charges the same price for either one.
