the title sums it up,i am a 3rd gen guy that has stepped out and got an lt1,the two motors are similar in ways but i have done some looking at the different cams,i have used lpe,tpis and comp for years,however i am at a loss the L98 loved the cc306 and the cc286hr10. now all you guys that have been in the Lt1 game for a while can answer this do you think the Lt1 would like the 286 its 230 @.050 560lift w/1.5s on a 110 lobe sep.this cam barely passed emiss. in the L98......Or should i just get a dual pattern cam instead?
the typical mods will of course be done&p heads,2.00 1.56 valves,ported intake,30lb inj.etc.

 

You want to run the cc306 in the LT1? It'll like it, just make sure you get tuned or its gonna be pretty terrible. From what I read its a very aggressive cam and more should be upgraded to run it properly.
