Same problem here. I just did a TB coolant re-route (which I didn't need the kit for ) and in doing so noticed my elbow had two rips in it and the last time i tightened it down I left a gap in it It is hard to get that little lip between the TB and thermo housing. I noticed that the intake elbows go for $100 so I am looking for one that is cool and less money. Who is this guy your talking about and does he have a web site?

made of cast alumimun. Solid as a rock! comes with the intake rubber and MAF rubber both with clamps. I think they use em on S/C applications due to it not losing the pressure of a plastic one and not rotting out

Another vote for the Vortec or a trick flow elbow. I have the vortec and that thing is going nowhere and looks 10x better. The rubber ones will just fall apart again in time.

Go with the Vortech. its far better than the 1LE. and it has a TB airfoil (Kinda) in in already.

I vote for a vortech also. It was nice and easy to cut down later so I could get my SLP CAI on too, because they are a tight fit.

did my pic work? what do you think? you like the elbow? only thing I didnt like was that the IAT sensor wouldnt fit unless I put a tap to it and made my stock IAT a screw type fit. You also have to drill a hole into the side for the vented optispark models where it needs air from after the filter

94FlamdS10Blazr, I like the vortech elbow...I saw someone had to say cut when it came to fitting on the cai? I already have a moroso cai, will it fit with that or am I gonna have to cut it? Anything else it isn't compatible with?
Thanks
JOHN
