An intake elbow is the rubber elbow connecting the plastic intake (it connects with a MAF on the 94+) with the throttle body.
The 1LE elbow is the same thing except it doesn't have the big "*****" as some reffer to it on this site .
There are no gains from switching to an 1LE. Some people use them with electric waterpumps because there is no other way around, (well unless you modify your stock one) but I wouldn't buy an 1LE unless your stock one is cracked/damaged...

This is a wholesome board. We don't use words like that around here.

Say, that is a nice tach pic on your new site logo.

www.summitracing has 2 brands..trick flow and something else. I put my stock 'elephant' elbow back in for insurance against the CAI sucking water. If it's raining real hard, that elephant has been known to catch the water first before it gets into the throttle body.

Yep, thanks a lot Rob! I'll have a section mentioning everyone who made the existence of the site possible so your efforts will not be forgotten!
