1LE delete bracket question again,.. Removeing my all my AC ...want/need to fabricate a 1LE delete bracket for my 95 LT1 accessory bracket out of some aluminum plate that I have laying around the garage floor. Does anybody out there have any detailed measurements + diagrams on the dimensions of this piece that they can send me via the "back-channel"-TIA

You can get one from the dealer for less than $50, at least that's what I paid for mine from the dealer.

Agreed, I got one from Jason Cromer for around $40 shipped a year ago, they are not that expensive and it's much easier than trying to fabricate one. Just email and tell him you want an A/C delete pulley, he has the part #.

Get your measurements wrong and how much is a tow home because your belt is toast?

Sometimes I like to save a buck or two...others times saving that buck or two makes me look like an as$.

It's more that just a piece of aluminum, it also has a pulley built into it to take the place of the A/C pulley that was removed. I guess if you're pretty skilled you could make the aluminum bracket and some sort of custom pulley to mount to it. Just seems like a lot of work to go to for a relatively inexpensive existing part.

Here is a picture of one.

Pulley Pic

It's on the car right now. Cost from Jason was $35 + shipping, so say $40. The hardest part will be the pulley with the ribbed design. Cutting the metal is the easy part, getting the pulley???
