1996 Z28

Hello,
I,m new here and would like to get some info.
I just got a 96 Z28 with the LT1 6speed.
Looking for thing I can do to make it faster.
I.d like to get headers for it. Anyone have a idea what kind I sould
get and installs easily, or bolt ons to make it faster. Also looking
for ss hood with scoop. any one have one for sale or know where
I can pick one up.

i just got done installing some pacesetters on my car and they are great. the install was not too bad and the fit is awesome.

I would start with an exhaust, CAI and shifter if it is an M6. After that you can go many different routes, just whatever you want to do.

I'm a big fan of the Pacesetter headers as well, they really made a noticable power gain to the car. They were not difficult to install, just time consuming. Some other easy mods. would be a cold air intake, airfoil, throttle body bypass, and a catback exhaust. As for the SS hood, check out the Parts for Sale forum as fellow board member sell them from time to time and check the Supporting Vendor Index, several of the online websites sell these hoods.
