Car surged a little bit as if outta fuel but was not . Drove home with couple additional misses . next day engine dies bot 2 miles from home but would restart immediately for bout 10-20 seconds and die again then eventually stopped restarting ! Funny thing is each time engine would stop i would here fuel pump running as if just turned ignition on to start car ! But ignition still in run position ! fuel pressure gauge @ regulator shows good pressure ! waiting on a tow to the house to wrench on it ! any ideas ?

 

If pressure is ok, check spark at the coil then a few plugs. Gotta start some where.

 

I would leave the fuel pressure gauge on intill it stalls while it idols , the pump maybe on its way out , the only other thing i would check the icm and make sure its not getting to hot

 

Got it home now it starts but doesn't run long ! it's a loss of spark ! Well i seen it running with spark tester @ #1 plug ! spark looked orange and weak ! But i seen when starting it and when it cut off the spark is not constant ! The fuel pressure gauge i mentioned is mounted to car all the time not just while testing and pressure is good ! I'm puzzled by how the fuel pump re-primes when it shuts off as if key was turned off and back on even though it hasn't been touched !!
