Not many choices for distributors. THere are a bunch of really cheap ones on ebay...DON'T buy them

MSD makes one. Most people think it no better than stock, for a premium price.

Accel sells one. Again, most people think it no bette than stock.

Auto store replacements. These are usually worse than stock...don't buy these either.

Most people will tell you to buy an AC/Delco unit...

You have other choices, though/ The Bailey LTCC allows you to divorce the high voltage section from the distribur and use it just as a cam sensor. You use it with one coil per cylinder. There is also the efi connections 24X system which converts the ignition over to a one coil per cylinder setup but replaces the computer and the distributor.

Wires are really your choice, just stay away from cheap autostore wires....the job rates am 8 on the crappy jobs scale so you don't want to do it to many times. I use magnecor wires but plenty of others work just fine...

So basically you're just doing ignition upgrades? There are some choices out there, but for performance I personally have gone with MSD and am quite happy with the results. Depending on your budget, my recommendations..............

MSD Pro-Billet Opti #83811
MSD Coil #8231
MSD Igniton box (Choice)
MSD Plug & Play harness to connect box to coil
Taylor Wires
