Are 1995 Pushrods okay with CC306 and milled heads?

The price of pushrods is putting me slightly over budget, and if the stockers are fine I will stay with them.

I think my head guy is going to shave around a .060 off my heads for higher compression, but if the only reason I would need the pushrods is to compensate for the milled heads, I'll tell him not to do that.

So, are the stock length stock 1995 lt1 pushrods hardened, and are they good enough for a big cam?

Thanks,
James

I have a 96 and when my machine shop did my heads they assured me mine would be fine (but I am using 1.5 rockers). He guarenteed his work for a year so I felt pretty confident.

you typically dont have to worry about pushrods until you hit the +.100 range.

At least spring the $35 for some Comp hardened... Too cheap not to for the insurance.
