1995 Camaro Z28 start/run issue
Speedygonzales,
Once again, thank you for the the info... you're quite the cornucopia of information!
I'll look around to see if I can find the fuel line disconnect tools locally. If not, then I'll place the order.
We got over a foot of snow today... the Z28 would have been useless even if I would have been able to start it....
Peace,
Wayno

Just wanted to let you know that I got the Walbro pump and installed it lastnight/today. I cut a hole through the trunk and I'm glad I did it this way... way less work and I can get back in there easy if I have to replace it again (hopefully not). I was worried cutting through there especially with all the sparks flying but everything turned out well. Pealed back some of the sheetmetal once I cut a small notch and I was able to see where the fuel lines were. Felt much better knowing that I wasn't going to slice through one.
Noticed some people don't bother with the "bucket".
What's the purpose of that thing anyway? Why not just dump the recirc gas into the main tank?
But I digress.... the car now runs like a tank... pressure goes up when I add gas vs. down like before and it never drops under 40psi. I'm really happy and would like to send a warm thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone that responded to my thread, and especially Speedygonzales.
