1994 Z28 Wrecked $$$????

My friend recently wrecked his 1994 camaro Z28. It is all stock and is an automatic. The wrecked completely ruined the front right wheel and all of the suspension on the front right. The motor mounts were pushed over and therefore the insurance campany considered it totaled.

Everything else in the car is fine. The engine runs, interior perfect, hood fine etc etc. I was looking into buying this car because my 1985 Camaro needs a new engine, tranny, computer, etc. after 255,000 miles.

I was just curious how much some of you people would pay for this so i would know how much to offer him. I would probably sell all the extra stuff at swap meets to get my money back also. thank you for any help.

Did he mention he would sell it to you? He's a friend ask him what he wants for it. It should be alright if thats all thats wrong with it but its hard for us to give you any opinion on it when we cant see the damage.

Agreed more info needed. Since it is totalled would it be bought from you friend or the insurance company?

Does your state require the ownership papers to show it has been totalled?

My first thought would be: 1/2 of wholesale bluebook - cost to repair damage. Unless you get a clean VIN.
