I need some estimated performance specs on a 1994 Z28 I wanna buy. Owner says its running 320hp to the wheels.

Mods: GM Performance axle with 3:23 gears. Functional ram air hood. Full line MSD ignition system. Ported and polished throttle body with slp air foil. Descreened MAF sensor. Flowmaster catback with gutted cats. 160 thermostat. March performance underdrive pulley. B&M transgo shiftkit. Lowered on Eibach prokit springs with BMR suspension. Xenon body kit. Kumo tires.


Would the owners hp rating be correct? If not, how much would ya'll estimate the Z28 is running at the wheels?

 

Owner is lying.

 

Maybe 240 to the wheels.

 

There is very little there that would increase the HP much from the 275 flywheel HP as it came stock. Ask him for a dyno sheet.

 

He might be making those number if he had an LS1 under the hood.
