1993 z28 DTC 26, 28, 66

Getting 26, 28, 66 DTC codes from my 1993 z28 just got it back together after a cam swap,
I did delete the air pump, a/c comp, all a/c lines and a/c condensor. Also thinking about deleteing the egr valve and purge solenoid and having everything tuned out. I have my fans wired up to come on when the ignition is first turned over. Which im going to rewire it into a switch on my dash.

But id like to know if a tune and telling pcmforless what ive deleted and what ive done to it will get rid of this check engine light and these codes?

Also what do all them mean? I know atleast one of them has to do with the air pump. I did remove the fuse from it too. Maybe ill just put the fuse back in and see if that works.

But the other two all ive been able to find is something about my a/c?

Re: 1993 z28 DTC 26, 28, 66

26 is QDM #1 which is air pump relay circuit, egr solenoid, or evap solenoid (i deleted the air pump)

28 is QDM #3 which is fan control relay, a/c compressor relay

66 is A/C pressure sensor circuit (open or shorted) also deleted this.

Thanks again rob

The codes are for 2 relays (A/C, AIR pump) and 1 sensor (A/C pressure). I'd be willing to bet you could eliminate all three codes with resistors.

Put the AIR fuse and the relay back in. That's what sets the code. If you unplugged the A/C pressure sensor, plug it back in and tuck the harness and sensor out of sight. 2 codes down, 1 togo.

Sucks cause i tossed the A/c lines with the sensor. Ill just have to go cut one off a junkyard car
