What's the difference between that kit and those Racetronics fuel pump conversions?

Well what I am talking about is just the pump not the whole wiring set up.The racetronics set up cost about $300.00.You don't need the whole kit till you get to BIG HP ,if you use the 340 pump by itself it will supply plenty for 400+RWHP.You can get the pump by itself.

Cutting an access door to get to the pump easier... and swap it out that way I believe... read about it in a post a month or so ago...

Last time I checked there is no way you can install the Fuel Filter wrong.
One end screws on, and the other is TOTALLY different and has a plastic snap piece.
You would have to be VERY creative to install it the wrong direction.....
You know your right, I'm thinking about my truck filter...

Does not effect the car at all IF you take your time,do it NEAT,and reseal the hole properly.I did it with a Drimmel tool with wizz wheels and you have to cut it about 1" further on the left (leave the left side measurement where it is on most instructions).I put mine back in with 4 tab's,short self tapping screws and body caulk.I used the piece I cut out REAL neat to put back into the hole, and it matches the hatch floor v a flat piece of sheet metal.

As far as "rigging it" you could spend ALL day pulling the tank, which you do have to drop the rear end to pull it.
Either way is fine.Depends on your mind set!!!!!

That fuel Pimp door sounds mighty cool... so what's the difference between doing it the Race tronix way and this way? is it worth saving the extra frustraigtion to get the whole kit?

Well, the bigest difference is $200.00,when you don't need it.When you get to 450RWHP with the 340,then buy the wiring harness,or a Aeromotive pump voltage booster or both.

EDIT--The harness can be added anytime with or without any pump change, but ya still don't need it.

Before you go all out and replace your pump, check and make sure that's actually the problem. Back when my car was doing the same thing, I was all ready to replace the pump untill a couple of runs with a fuel pressure gauge proved it wasn't the problem.
