At our track stock lt1 are low 14s at best. He hasn't said where he is located or what altitude the track is at. That and the rest of the density air combination of temp, humdity and bar and wind play big roles in how they run.
One tip local buddy showed me put bag of ice on the intake ,heck even leave it on there if it fits under the hood on the motor and you should cut a few tenths off. He does pretty consistently maybe more so as he has no 160 stat or fan control on his car and they do run hot.

I wish a stock lt1 could do 13.4 here but it aint gonna happen in my lifetime.
Our track sucks too with usually zero track prep and no concrete launch pad at all. Its nhra but bushleague!! I would do the cutout should gain a couple tenths right there.

Re: 14.00 Et Need Help Whats The Problem

I live in columbus ohio.I thought that it was a great day.The temp was around 75 or so out during the day and coold of in to the upper 60s on my last run but it still didnt help.I have a 160 thermostat and with the HPP111
it gets to 170 or 180 and the fans come on, so it dont run hot.One thing I noticed is that when I do my burnout is that when it gets up to around 5000to 5500 rpms I will let off the pedal just a real little and it wants to baulge way down and the rpms will drop way down around 3000 to 3500 or so then when i press the pedal down harder it takes a second but it will rev back up.Its like it loses all power for that second. All yea there is no missing during all that.I was wondering if the throttlebody could be causing all of my problems or not.Being to big for the little mods that I have done or not.

Your expectations are just too high. With your mods, you are right where you should be. I do think high 13's are possible though.

The only thing I don't get is how your traps went down from 99 to 96. How was the weather this time vs last year. Are your drag radials/rims any heavier than your old tires? Did you manually gap your plugs to 0.050?

Deffinately something wrong there, my '94 A4 with just a CAI on street tires went 13.511 @ 101.47 and consistantly went 13.5-13.6 @ 100-101.

Yea I just ran my car on friday and all I have is a CAI and catback and I ran 14.05 at 100.45mph on a 2.23 60ft. Your mph defenetly seems low, does it seem to pull all right at higher rpms?

Re: 14.00 Et Need Help Whats The Problem

My car ran a 13.8@100.31 with the mods I listed, I didn't have much done to it at all. Let's see what my headers put me at, let alone a 3200 stall and some drag radials, I may be in the high 12's low low 13's. Hypertech is garbage. I have the LT4 KM but I don't have 1.6 RR, should I get them, or wait a LONG *** time for heads/cam?

The LT4 KM isnt doing anything for you right now. A good set of 1.6's wouldnt be a bad idea. I dropped .2 when I put mine on after the shorties

Re: 14.00 Et Need Help Whats The Problem

You guys bring up good points. As far as pulling at high rpms this is what I found out. When I do my burnout before staging my car revs up to 5500 rpms fine but when I let off a little to try and keep it there it bogs way down to about 3000-3500 rpms and I have to get into the throttle pretty hard to get it to rev back up again.I know that there isnt something right about that. What should be the first thing I should look at,Or is there some mod that I have on my car that could be hurting me more than helping.By the way thanks for all the help you guys are giving me.

What do you guys think would be causing the car to bog down so bad during the burnout.

Re: 14.00 Et Need Help Whats The Problem

When I ran on a flowmaster, cai, no cat, and 4.10's I ran a best of 14.016 @ 102.5

My issue was traction, you mph is way low.
