13.3 MPG after H/C

I Just PnP'd my heads, 2.02/1.60, and a CC306, getting 13.3 MPG now, that seems low to me (M6 3.42). Brian at PCM4less wrote the program.

13mpg around the city? Or on the highway? Either way, my guess is that it's normal. The 306 is a pretty big cam.

Its about half city, half highway, I live in a rural area. No I haven't said anything to Brian yet. I was wondering if it was close to what it should be before I bothered him with it. I can live with 13 MPG if thats what I should be getting. If I should be getting 18 though, I want to know.

Thats the price you pay for putting on bigger heads and cams. I get about 10mpg with my H/C

wow, i really feel like crap now. i get about that and my engine is stock for the most part. i think i'm averaging about 200-225 miles per tank of gas with a lot of highway driving (using 93 octane). opti, plugs and wires changed about 2 years ago. just replaced o2's. just cleaned maf, cleaned filter, changed oil (using 15w50- probably doesnt help) i have no cats and tires and alignment are good. anyone got any ideas for this one? or should i try changing wires and plugs again?
dave

sorry about jumping on your post.

I get about 18/23 MPG city/highway on my car in the summer time. In the winter I get about 15/20 MPG city/hwy. My car is basically stock, just cat back and CAI.

Yea, if you guys are getting bad gas mileage try a tune up if you haven't already. Also spray some cleaner on the MAF elements. Chemtool worked fine for me. Just try not to touch the elements.
