115 speedo??

Stupid Question... I have a 94 Z28, what do I need to do to get white face gauges or the glow gauges if my speedo only goes up to 115 and it says the only ones I can order are for a 150 speedo??
thanx for the help

Just get yourself a 150 speedo and do them both while you're at it. You should be able to pick a used one up for $50 or so.

You will need the 150mph guage cluster. No other way around it. I just did it myself.

do you have to reprogram anything when you change the gauge cluster?

You don't have to, but you will still have the 118 MPH limiter.

maybe you guys can help me out... i also have the 115 mph speedo and speed limiter... ( i now have Y rated tires, so that governor's gotta go...) but i want a speedo that will show the full potential of my car... with a couple future mods and my 2:73's im fairly certain she will be capable of 180mph by next year... so i want a 180mph speedo... like the in the 95 vipers... anyone heard of anything that would be easy to do in my formula?

There are no 180 mph speedo for our cars. Granatelli made some 200 mph ones but those were for 97+ cars.
Either way, it won't be easy and it won't be cheap, but you can however go with a 150 MPH cluster which will work great without having to do anything else other than the cluster swap. And it's like $50, so it's a great mod.

As for burnemonm1's question... you don't have to swap to a 150 cluster (although I don't see why someone wouldn't want to do that) but I don't think the V6 overlays will work. I beleive the V8 low MPH cluster goes up to 110 and the V6 one goes up to 120, so it won't be accurate. But if it looks 100% identical, then it should work. Maybe they also make them for the V8 110 cluster, did you ask?

OK, maybe RS ones go up to 115, but the 3.4 V6 is 120 for sure.

Limerock, here in CT....
its a raceway.... kinda curvasious...(sp?) but its got a straight away thats like 4/5th's of a mile i believe... and figuring you can come out of turn 5 at 45-50mph if your good and you need to be down to a max. of 90 for turn 6 i think i can get er up to 170 or so in the straight away (that is after i get some high end power, like a cam)
