11.67 @ 115.26 with hotcam/automatic

One of our employees (Jay Bihari), owns a 97Z with the following mods-

Stock shortblock
hotcam
stage 2 Speed Inc heads
Longtubes and true duals ending at axle
Et streets, midwest 3400 converter.
80,000 miles
Completely stock suspension

Timeslip reads-

1.59 60ft

1/8 7.4

1/8 mph 94.07

1/4 11.67

1/4 mph 115.26

A bigger converter and custom grind cam will be going in shortly

That 1/8 mph is ridiculous for a hotcam! The 1/4 mph is pretty insane too.

Wow, that' pretty impressive for a hotcam. Those have got to be some killer heads on that thing. Either that, or someone's fibbing. Awesome numbers though!

Yes, gotta love that Hot Cam. I sure isn't the greatest cam out there, but it is a heck of a lot better then given credit. Hot cam, the cam that can.

You talking about the Hot Cam??? If you are, it's very streetable. In fact that's why I got mine. A lot of guys here on the board will say it's too small. That's how streetable it is.
