What is wrong with my car... I'm spinning A LOT, but can it affect my times so much?

it definitely can. what is your 60'? the rule of thumb is for every .1 you take off the 60' takes .2 off the 1/4

Get traction. I went 13.2 on a 105 trap on a 1.92 60'.

Traction is key, get some DR's and or some Control arms, torque arm to help with you spinning.. You should see a big difference.

Sounds like a 2.0-2.2 60' to me; not great, but not terrible either. Street tires? How long do you spin? M6 or A4? What's your launch technique?

Sounds more like a 2.4 or worse 60' to me. I ran a 13.6 @ 102 with a 2.15 60' in my Z.

2.39 60'
Street Tires
I spun all 1st gear and most of second with an A4... I tried lots of techniques that day and got this best time stalling the car just a bit before launching... the problem I noticed that affected me the most was that because of the spinning, the A4 would shift into second before time and would bog me down...

Race on pavement next time and pass on the ice tracks...lol

Seriously if youre 60 is that bad, you have quite a bit of E.T. to pick up there by just hitting a 1.90 60 foot.

Re: 105mph trap... 13.94 E/T... :ugh:

Put it this way I went 13.2 at 101.3mph on stickies with just a 1.8 60ft. same night with another 100lbs in the car on street tires I went 13.6 at 101.
You get it to hook and the MPH may come down a little but the ET will come down a lot.
