103 vs. 106

Autolite spark plugs...I see lots of members pushing the 103s...but the book calls for 106s...I compared the 2 and the difference appears to be that they (103s) are just shorter...am I correct in that assumption or is something else up?...thanks

They are shorter.... And, they are 2-3 steps colder than stock.

run 104's here gaped at 35

runs fine and dosent load up at idle
