10.576 N/A 9.642 with a small jet

This is only the second time out on this combo I have some tuning issues with the tip in on the carb. I still feel these are some good shakedown times.

N/A pass

60' 1.563

1/8 6.761 @ 103.01

1/4 10.576 @ 128.64

On a .063 jet

60' 1.382

1/8 6.134 @112.66

1/4 9.642 @ 139.01

on a .075 jet

60' 1.313

1/8 6.074 @ 106.43

1/4 10.723 @ 89.51

After this pass I decided to load the car on the trailer. At this time the grass was wet with dew, it was a friday night with a bunch of steet cars, but the icing on the cake is all the cars in the staging lanes were covered with dew. The car left hard picture below. Before the 1/8 I was pedaling 4 or 5 times and just decided I was done till next week. I wasn't going to be the second guy driving into the wall.

To many thoughts going thru the head to keep a eye on the tree. The reaction times are all of the place.

This pictue is hard to make out. I need to take another one but see what I'm using for an air filter. All I need is exhaust and dr then this thing is going to see the streets a little.

Well I'm not sure if I will be taking back to the track this weekend. They have a two day race going on but if I decide to go it will be motor passes. Which would allow me to add a little timing ang see what else is left in it.

Do you run 28 or 26 inch tires?

Bet it has some low low 10's in it na , interested to see what it does on a bigger shot and with some suspension tuning.

The way the motor is set up it will want about 36* timing but if I put it all in I may have some problems on the bigger shots trying to pull it out with the box. If I were to order a different converter a loose 8" with about a 56-6000 stall this motor would go 9.9's N/A pretty easy. I got more left in every run I made. Only made 6 passes with it so far and I haven't touched the suspension since I bolted it together.

Nice runs, making me think more about going with a glide on my new setup. Later Clint
