1 7/8" Dynatech headers

Hey, is there anyway to transfer my egr fitting from my broken jethots over to these? They are only about 600 shipped with the collectors.... I saw these headers put on an ls1 with just boltons and it gained nearly twice as much power and torque as the 1 3/4" headers on the same motor... strange I figured a header that size would be way too big but it did a lot for the stockish ls1, anyone tried them on the LT1? BTW my car is going to have heads and cam....

those are some big tubes for a 350...

If I may ask, why are you still using the egr if you're going to be running headers that big anyways? I would just block it off if I were you, if the headers don't come with egr fittings you're going to have to fabricate them, and that's not really worth the trouble.

Have you checked to see if they are available for the Lt1s? My buddy tried to find some for his 396 LT1 and he couldn't find them..They only had them for the LS1s

No you cant make it work. At least not without more fabrication then that is worth. Just eliminate it. I run the same header on my LT1, and I will warn you that they are a bitch to do plugs on, and they really fill the engine bay. Some of the bolts can be a real bitch. I also recommend gooping the crap out of the slip on collectors with Ultra Copper that is O2 safe. They tend to leak if you dont. I also had a problem with the low oil sender bung being in the way. You might have to eliminate that little useless thing too.

I am pretty sure that they never made those. I know they are up on their site, but I am sure they never made it production.

Well im in an emissions area and there are things i can do to a point that will allow me to pass, I belive I may need EGR... Only reason I may not is, the EGR recirculated exhaust gases, but with a larger camshaft, like really large the exhaust valve doesnt close till well after the piston starts coming down on the intake stroke maybe either A.- sucking exhaust back into the chamber at the lower rpms or B. even the low rpm doesnt keep the velocity of exhaust gas down enough to prevent some of the intake charge from escaping with the exhaust.... if A is true I dont need it but I was wondering if it was even possible....

Those headers are no longer made, Hedman does make a set though. Be careful you may kill some low end torque out of that 350 inch engine. LS1 and LT1 are 2 different animals. BTW the Hedmans will not fit the A/C evaporator box.
