1.6 roller rocker diff. in brands

I was thinking about putting a set of 1.6 RR on my 96 firebird. I did a search and found what i needed but I would like to know if there is any differnces besides the price. I had a set of gold cranes on my 70 dart I really liked them!

The biggest difference is self aligning vs non-self aligning. Self aligning are a simplier design and don't require guide plates and hardened pushrods. The non-self aligning are probably more robust as the guideplates help keep the pushrods from flexing under higher loads. Either way I would suggest you change your valve springs to avoid coil bind. The LT4 valve springs work well.

Comp Cams Pro-Mags are some of the best around for price/value comparison. They weigh a bit more than aluminum ones but on the valve are supposed to weigh less. We've had good results with them..... and as OBE195z28 said about the S/A - NSA
