I bought a 95 A4 trans am a few months ago and little did i know it had a blown head gasket. well i used a g-tech on my car before i figured out that it was blown and i ran a 14.6. is that good/bad. also what do you think that i will run with fresh impy head gaskets, 2.02 1.60 valves, 1.6rr, and stiffer springs. i'm just curious and would like to know.
thanks for any responses
P.S i already bought everything and had the machine work done so please don't try to tell me to get/do anything else unless it is cheap.

There's really no way to tell....WAY too many variables. That's like asking how much time am I losing with a small/medium/large header leak or how much HP will I gain by changing my old spark plugs that have 150,000 miles on them.
And head to the track, no box sitting on your dash is worth as much as a real timeslip.
Not meaning to sound like a ****...but that's a question that really can't be answered.

What the guy above said. Dump the G-Tech and get to the track (after getting the head gasket fixed though).
Stock you should muster about a 13.8-14.0.
One question though. Why dump the money into opening up the heads when you don't have headers or the rest f the exhaust done? All you're going to do is bottleneck your gains in the stock exhaust system. I know that the heads are going to be off the car and all, but I think it might make more sense to do the exhaust. Or if you can swing it.....do both!

thanks for the replies. i guess i just didn't think about the question before i asked it. i also plan on get hooker LTs and cat-back as soon as i get the money because i know that without that the vavles are pretty worthless.
D
PS im going to the track in june for the first time i'm exited

First thing you should do is the exhaust, as someone eluded to earlier you'll not only pick up 25-40 rwhp if you do the whole thing, but it'll actually allow the stock intake, cam and heads to get more air into and out of the motor.
Nope, no emmisions for me. I hopr that the vavles help a little bit but even if they don't it really won't upset me because when i pulled the head off there was something in between one of my vavles and my head. that is why i took the head into the machine shop. the guy say that i should cut the vavles out. so i did.
Thanks D
