You will need O2 extensions when you have your Hooker long tubes installed, I would go ahead and get them. When I first had long tubes I just extended the O2 sensor wire and it worked fine, but when it came to new O2 sensors it came down to either splicing the new O2 sensor wire or just buying an extension, I bought an extension.

extensions

You have to have the O2 extension wires if you dont feel like splicing into the actual wires themselves. The factory wires wont reach the O2 bungs in the collectors of the longtubes. So although splicing wires isn't hard, if you dont feel like doing it, buy the extensions, i paid 26 bucks for a pair.

If you have never replaced them on this car, now would be a fine time to, Depending on where your O2 bungs are will determine the length of extention you need. If you have in header collector Bungs you only need 1 foot of extention, if they are in the y-pipe then you'll need a little longer.
